Positive Conflict Management (PCM) Associates offers training for students, parents and school staff focusing on issues of:
- School Safety and Security
- Conflict Resolution
- Anger Management
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Classroom Management
- Student Support Services/Guidance
- Effective Meetings and Teambuilding
The PCM team creates and delivers training that directly aligns with the goals and objectives of the school Comprehensive Education Plan(CEP)/Strategic Plan and provides each school community with the knowledge and skills needed to work collaboratively to create a climate that maximizes learning.
We consult with each school to:
- Perform a comprehensive task analysis to assess current education and professional development needs
- Utilize flexible scheduling to maximize the participation of all stakeholders
- Conduct pre-planning conferences and exit interviews with recommendations for next steps
Our facilitators are recognized citywide, nationally and internationally for their experience and expertise. Their dynamic presentations and passion for their work promotes "buy-in" from even the most disenfranchised participants.
Our methodologies are research based and our presentations are highly interactive and informed by our experience working in urban schools. All workshops and services are designed to build in-house capacity and allow participants to quickly turn key new knowledge and skills to all members of the school community. Consonance between adult and student workshops enables the sharing of a common goal to become a reality.
