This one day workshop, or overnight retreat, provides members of the school community the opportunity to maximize their potential as a team as they plan for the future. Participants create Action Plans to support identified initiatives. Follow-up workshops and/or retreats may be added to track the implementation of the Action Plans and make modifications to them as necessary (1 Day).

Facilitative leadership is people centered, inclusive, and focuses on results, flexibility and productivity. This highly interactive workshop provides participants the opportunity to develop key skills required to be a facilitative leader. Workshop topics include: Modeling School Vision, Building Teams, Providing and Receiving Feedback, Valuing Diversity, Communication Skills, Overcoming Resource Constraints, and Appreciative Inquiry (1-2 Days).
Using Needs Assessments to Save You Time and Money

Your school has been empowered with funding and you want to select the interventions most appropriate to your school's particular needs. A customized needs assessment assists school leaders as they target challenges which need to be addressed. This workshop teaches the components of an effective needs assessment and how to interpret the resulting data. PCM associates are also available to conduct on-site needs assessments utilizing surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other strategic planning tools (2 Days).

We have all heard the adage, "No man is an island.". However, in the real world, sometimes we all face challenges when dealing with other professionals which need to be addressed if collaboration is to occur. Participants in this interactive workshop are led through a series of highly engaging activities which build group cohesion and explore the benefits and struggles that occur when working collaboratively with others. Participants then apply these skills to address identified challenges (1-2 Days).

A data driven school vision is essential to success. This highly interactive workshop assists school leaders in fully understanding the power and potential of the the various data tools available to them. Topics to be covered in this workshop include: Interpreting Standardized and On-going Assessments, Test Administration / Organization, Incident and Safety Data: Keeping Everyone on the Same Page, Using Predictors and Recognizing Trends, Using Data to Determine Instructional Priorities, Analyzing Graduation and Dropout Rates, Attendance, Course Passing Rates, and Leading in the Development of On-going Classroom Assessments (1-3 Days).

School Leadership Teams are mandated to develop Comprehensive Education Plans (CEP's) which utilize all data sources available to them. During this highly interactive workshop, participants work collaboratively to align all data sources with their school vision. Topics to be covered include: Interpreting the DOE and NYS Evaluation Tools, Using Data as the Vision Road Map, Utilizing Predictors and Recognizing Trends, Incident and Safety Data: Focus and Meaning, and Using Data to set Priorities (1 Day).
