Empowering School Learning Communities to Plan for the Future:
This one day workshop or overnight retreat provides members of the individual school communities the opportunity to maximize their potential as a team as they plan for the future. Participants will create an Action Plan to support identified initiatives. Follow-Up workshops/retreats may be added to follow the implementation of the Action Plan and make modifications as necessary (1 Day).
Facilitative Leadership:
Is leadership that is people centered, inclusive, and driven to focus on results, flexibility and productivity. This workshop focuses on developing and enhancing some of the key strategies and skills of facilitative leadership including: modeling school vision, building teams, providing feedback, valuing diversity, communication, overcoming resource constraints, and appreciative inquiry. Using Needs Assessments to Save You Time and Money:
Your school has been empowered with funding, and you want to select the intervention most appropriate to your school's particular situation. A needs assessment will point towards your school's solution. This workshop will teach you the components of a needs assessment, the appropriate conditions for conducting one, the step-by-step process one takes, and how to interpret the resulting data. Our associates are also available to conduct needs assessments (through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other strategic planning tools) for your school. (2 Days)
Maximizing Resources by Building on Assets:
How can your school community maximize its resources? Too often the conversation centers on a school's needs and shortcomings rather than on its resources and assets.
